- Having lived in Suffolk, England, for most of our lives, in January 2007 my husband Tony and I decided to try a new way of life. We closed his business down, I took a career break, sold our house and many of our belongings, put the rest of our things in a van and moved with our 2 young children and Zoe the cat to a hill village in the north of Corfu, where we had bought a small house a couple of years previously. Today, we're still here, apart from Zoe who went to cat heaven back in 2009. Things are a little different though and we discovered that we didn't really want the same things out of life, even in this wonderous village. Tony now lives a near self sufficient lifestyle in a little cottage that he renovated, whilst I live with our children, plus Luna the dog, Bisquit and Ollie the cats, not forgetting Jo and Elmo our parrots in our original house. Me, I pursue a more regular lifestyle that includes employment and supermarkets! But, my original goal had been to write for a living here, and that I am able to do. Not perhaps the novel that I hoped to find within me, but through marketing and other text creation work, and this blog of course!

Same thing that happens to every month, Bill! It whizzes past, specially at the wrong side of 50! LOL!
